September and October are the time when Bulgarians more actively visit All inclusive hotels in Turkey, and late autumn is also the time when the earliest and most profitable bookings for next summer begin. That's why I decided in the next 2 blog posts to tell you about 2 of the hotels I've been to along the Turkish coast
The first post is dedicated to the green and beautiful hotel Richmond Ephesus Resort in Kusadasi, or more precisely on Pamuchak beach, where several large hotel complexes, loved by Bulgarians, are located.

I think the Richmond Ephesus Resort is the least known of them, but it is by no means to be overlooked! On one side of it is one of the most expensive hotels in Kusadasi - Korumar Ephesus. And along the long beach are Palm Wings Ephesus and the Aqua Fantasy Hotel, full of slides and entertainment for young and old.

Let's start with the exterior of the Richmond Ephesus Resort.

Exterior of the hotel

The hotel consists of one larger building and several low 2-story buildings with club rooms. Considering the huge hotels the Turkish coast is famous for, I would define Richmond Ephesus Resort as a medium-sized or rather small hotel.

The main reason for my choice of this hotel was precisely the club part. We always look for accommodation with small houses or bungalows as they offer much more privacy than huge buildings with hundreds of rooms. I've been in hotels where you have to wait 10-15 minutes for the elevator and it's quite unpleasant.
The good thing was that we didn't have a balcony, but a whole small veranda, which was far more pleasant than moving in a closed and stuffy hotel corridor. From the bedroom we went directly out into the fresh air.

The room

We were accommodated in a standard room. It was larger than the average size of hotel rooms around Turkey. There were no complaints, the furniture was new, the room was kept clean. In general, we had everything we needed without special luxury, but we were not looking for such.

The Garden

The gardens of the Richmond Ephesus Resort were excellently maintained and offered an incredible opportunity to relax in beautiful scenery and natural shade. It is the greenery that fills the eye of a tourist and what helps him rest better.
My only comment is that if they had thought to put benches, the experience would have been even better.

The Beach

I had read an awful lot of negative comments about the sand on the beach being "muddy", the beach being "nasty". I don't know what people are looking for in a beach to complain about, but for me this beach was a fairy tale!
The beach was extremely wide, at least 5-6 km long, with extremely fine sand and quite inland it was shallow! For me, this is a dream beach!
The only peculiarity was that there were no separate umbrellas, but common canopies, under which the sunbeds were located next to each other. This may have been the case in the particular year and may not always be this way.

The Food

The food was plentiful and extremely tasty. I have no comments.

Distances

Hotel Richmond Ephesus Resort is located on the outskirts of Kusadasi, or rather immediately after the town of Selcuk.

On the road between Selcuk and the hotel is the famous refuge of Ephesus - 11 km from the hotel

Near Ephesus is the House of the Virgin Mary - 16 km from the hotel.

The center of Kusadasi - 18 km

Kusadasi Mall - 20km

I will finish the review of this wonderful hotel with some panoramic photos taken at dusk. The view is incredible!

I am really very satisfied with the vacation at Richmond Ephesus Resort! I recommend the place! It was among the budget hotels in Kusadasi, but what the prices will be for the next season - it will probably become clear in a month.
